Planning applications for the week ending 04 July 2008 Office opening hours are 09:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday
The following applications for planning permission have been received and acknowledged by the Council and can be inspected at the Planning Unit, Civic Centre, North Walk, Barnstaple during office hours shown above. South Molton Area applications may be viewed at the South Molton Community Office on a Thursday between 10:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on request provided 48 hours notice is given by telephoning 01769 573302 and Ilfracombe Area applications may be viewed at the Ilfracombe Community Office on a Tuesday between 10:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. providing notice is given by the preceding Friday by telephoning 01271 863601. Digital copies of drawings and associated documents submitted with an application should also be available to view online within 5 working days of the date of the Weekly List that the application is listed on, linked via the View Plans & Documents button when displayed on the Details and Full Details pages. The Council’s policy for public participation now gives people the right to speak at the Planning Committee. When an application is referred to Committee for determination the Council will notify the applicant, and those objectors/supporters who have made written representations on the application, to explain the arrangements for speaking at the meeting. The representative of the Town/Parish Council also has the right to speak on an application in its area.
